Receiving An IFR Clearance
KBIL uses standard clearance procedures like most airports on VATSIM. Contact the appropriate online facility to request clearance. In “top down” order it would be DEL/GND, then TWR, then APP/DEP, or finally CTR if none of the others are online. If you file a flight plan that needs to be amended, ATC should contact you, but if not feel free to enquire.
Standard Runway Operations
Configuration | Runways | Wind Component |
West Ops | 28L/R, 25 | <5 knots from any direction |
East Ops | 10L/R, 7 | +5 knots from the east |
Airline Gate Locations

Pushing Back From The Gate
If you need to push back onto a taxiway, contact the controller responsible for ground operations. Otherwise the rest of the airport is a non-movement area and pushback clearance is not required.
VFR Procedures
The traffic pattern at KBIL is a standard left hand pattern for all runways.
VFR aircraft should expect to receive instructions to maintain VFR at or below 7,500 feet.
